What do with a day to kill in Sorrento(Italy). Beautiful weather so we decided to hit the waves and hire a boat. There were a variety a crafts available
with optional skipper so we chose our craft, a sort of inflatable dinghy with a high powered motor plus our skipper Ciccio, voted captain of the year at some stage. Turns out the sea was not as calm as we would have liked
and our craft not as stable smashing us down with bone-jarring regularity.Ciccio was interesting especially when trying to hit on Claire.
Eventually made it to Positano for some acceptable gelato and unacceptable crowds.
Then back onto the SS Bone Shaker to the Isle of Capri
with a stop for lunch.
Then back on board again for a particularly rough crossing back to Sorrento, which involved cold winds and cold sea spray.
Arrived safely but cold and wet and sunburnt.
Barely enough energy to drag ourselves out for another magnificent feast
